Susterra® for Data Center Cooling Applications

    Renewable glycol for process cooling in the data center industry

    There is a greater focus on data center process cooling efficiency based on increased energy needs for high rack density and excess heat generation caused by new technology such as AI and high-performance computing. There are also growing demands for the reduction of fossil fuels to help meet growing energy demand. Susterra® propanediol is a 100% plant-based, renewable, and responsibly sourced glycol option to support data center process cooling.


    Susterra® propanediol is an innovative technology that enhance product performance and is a sustainable alternative to petroleum-derived 1,3-propanediol, ethylene glycol, and petroleum glycol in process cooling applications. Susterra® PDO is made from 100% regeneratively grown dent corn from the Midwestern U.S. and processed in Loudon, Tennessee.
